We’ve Updated Our On-Air Schedule

You can download our new on-air schedule as a .PDF file.

Lord Grouse has been lying low for a few weeks, enjoying the end of summer. But he’s back on the air today/Thursday from 7-9pm and you can listen here.

Joining the Mighty Grouse at around 7:30pm will be DC’s own TEETHING VEILS a/k/a Greg Svitil of Silo Halo.

There are some great DC-area shows this weekend, and the Mighty Grouse will be telling you about them and playing some related music on this week’s show. Then there will be a bombardment of links and related images on this tumblr Friday!

Broadcast/Webcast Update

If you live in the D.C. area, you may have noticed that Radio CPR didn’t reach as far as it normally does. For a couple weeks, 97.5 FM operated at a tiny 10 watts. That’s sad even for ham radio standards (we’re not knocking ham radio). But over the weekend, our volunteer engineers fixed the problem and we’re back at a full 150 watts. Heroes!

Also, our online listeners may have noticed an inconsistent webcast. Two things: A) We are working on a new Internet provider to bring the world CPR goodness. B) Those same volunteer heroes are almost done installing a dedicated server to stream. That means no more obnoxious ads from Ustream (we are thankful for the space when we use it, though) and the ability to listen to Radio CPR on iTunes! More details to come.

Thanks for listening!
