Two Upcoming Radio CPR Benefits You Should Peep

Friday, Feb. 25: Start the night at 7 p.m. with a locals-only concert at La Casa (3166 Mt. Pleasant St. NW), featuring Hot Mess (all-lady hardcore-punk), ACME (electro-soul) and artists from Fallen Kings Records (hip-hop). A ton of our Radio CPR DJs will also be on hand to spin music between sets! Only $3, which is basically ridiculous. And then you should mosey on over to…

… our seemingly seasonal house party benefit! Even more Radio CPR DJs will spin at 1118 Girad St. NW with some live drumming by D.C.’s own Kiran. Doors open at 10:30, we dance until dawn. Only a $5-10 donation gets you in the party to help keep us on the air and online, folks.

Temporium Opens This Friday, We’ll Be There!

Radio CPR is really excited to be involved with Temporium, a temporary, pop-up retailer coming to Mt. Pleasant St. NW for 24 consecutive days from February 18 through March 13. From Temporium’s website:

The project, located at 3068 Mt. Pleasant St. NW, is part of the District’s new Temporary Urbanism initiative and features handmade goods for sale from 30 local, independent crafters and artists.

Radio CPR will be on-hand this Friday, Feb. 18 with some of our DJs: Brent, Rat, Trash and Motherscheister. The grand opening will be 7-9 p.m.

We have a few events in the works with Temporium, including a concert at La Casa on Feb. 25 featuring Hot Mess, ACME and the artists of Fallen Kings Records, so come back here for more info or peep Temporium’s schedule.
